Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Cleaner at a site in Speke, Liverpool (L24 9JW). 30 hours per week, Mon to Fri 6am to 12:30pm. The role pays £13.45 per hour and includes on-site perks such as free parking, beverages, and canteen facilities.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is not essential; training will be provided.
• Able to follow written instructions on an electronic device.
• Able to work solo or as part of a team.
• Adaptable and ready for varied daily tasks.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, sinks, handwashing stations, ceilings and walls in laboratory areas using high reach equipment.
• Dispose of general waste.
• Clean glass, doors, and dust surfaces; clean corridors.
• Replace consumables (soap, hand towels).
• Clean office spaces and toilets; maintain a welcoming environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to keep teams safe.

What you'll do:

• Cleaning of floors, sinks, handwashing stations, ceilings and walls (using high reach equipment) in laboratory areas
• General Waste disposal
• Glass cleaning, cleaning doors, dusting.
• Cleaning of corridors
• Replacing consumable items (soap, hand towels etc)
• Cleaning of office spaces and toilet areas
• Help our teams maintain a welcoming environment, completing your list of daily cleaning tasks
• Help us keep our teams safe through safety and sanitation procedures

What you'll bring:

• Cleaning experience is great, but not essential - we’ll show you the ropes!
• Ability to follow written instructions issued on an electronic device
• You’re happy working solo or teaming up with others
• You’re flexible and ready to jump into whatever the day brings
• You're a team player with good spoken and written communication skills
