Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is recruiting for a Cleaning role within its facilities team. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across offices, toilets and kitchen/diner areas, with opportunities to train and develop in basic cleaning tasks.

You will cover for colleagues during absences and work with internal and external customers, while adhering to COSHH regulations and health and safety standards.

Job description

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.

Being used to working within a team and on your own initiative, you will be flexible and take pride in your work and willing to undertake training as required. Experience of cleaning is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Joining our team, you'll take responsibility for ensuring our offices, toilets, kitchen/diner are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. You'll be operating, undertake training activities, carry out basic cleaning duties and cover for colleagues during absences. In addition, you'll be working with internal and external customers and be fully compliant with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations., Working for Warwickshire - This is the difference you make
