Job description

If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of Cleaners in Council buildings within the Leven area. We currently have two permanent vacancies:

• Post 1 - Cleaner Methilhaven Depot (Grounds Maintenance) – 4.5 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1.5 hours in the morning times to be discussed at interview - 52-week contract.
• Post 2 – Balmaise Community Centre, Leven – 5 hours per week Monday to Friday as required in the morning – 52-week contract.

You will earn a competitive salary of £23,783.40 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

• We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.67 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
• Pay is every 4 weeks.

This work is about ensuring clients and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.

You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
