Job Information

Deliver excellent service standards for the routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

Main Duties

• Undertake all required training to deliver the cleaning role successfully.
• Work within a team and on your own initiative.
• Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness in line with the Contract and relevant SLAs, carrying out all daily, weekly, and periodic tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Ensure the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
• Keep all equipment clean, well-maintained, and in safe working order.
• Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
• Maintain security by locking doors, following lost property procedures, etc.
• Have full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including work specifications and time allocations.
• Know all cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals used by Mitie.
• Set a good example in dress, behaviour, punctuality, and attendance.
• Adhere to all Safeguarding Policies and report concerns as per Mitie policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ensure contractors and visitors comply with security and health & safety policies.
• Build positive relationships with customers, delivering excellent service and seeking improvements.
• Perform any other duties within capability as needed.
