Job summary

St Edward's Church of England (Voluntary Aided) Primary School is seeking morning or evening cleaners. Two posts may be filled, or one candidate can cover 20 hours per week, term-time only plus one additional week. Hours are 6.30–8.30 am or 3.30–5.30 pm, with enhanced DBS check and full training provided.

The role requires reliability and a commitment to high cleaning standards to keep the school environment safe and welcoming for pupils and staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience is not essential; full training will be given.
  • Two posts to fill, or one candidate covering 20 hours per week.

Working hours: 6.30 – 8.30 a.m. OR 3.30 p.m. – 5.30 p.m.

Actual salary: £7,839 - £7,949 (52 Weeks per year)

Annual salary: £7,596 per annum

St Edward’s is a large, friendly and caring school. We require a cleaner to join our friendly and hard-working team of cleaners who ensure that our school is always cleaned to a high standard. Experience is not essential as full training will be given.

We are looking to fill two posts, either with two individuals or 1 candidate completing a total of 20hrs per week. Please make this known in your application.

This post is exempt from the provision of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant will be expected to undertake an enhanced disclosure.
