Job summary

South West Norse is recruiting a part-time Cleaner for County Hall, Exeter. The ideal candidate will perform routine and ad-hoc cleaning tasks, working both independently and as part of a small team, while upholding high standards of hygiene and client service across all communal areas.

Training is provided; prior cleaning experience is an advantage. A DBS check is required, and the employer emphasizes equality and opportunities for progression within the organisation.

South West Norse is a successful commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering and facilities management disciplines. We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our established team at County Hall, Exeter on a permanent, part-time, basis. The Role: Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures. Whilst maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer facing role will require you to deliver high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility. Our Successful Candidate: If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment then this would be an advantage however, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate
