Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 16 hours per week. The role involves dusting, sweeping, mopping, sanitising, and restocking supplies, with evenings shifts.

You'll work alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to maintain hygienic environments for clients and customers, using a flexible hands-on approach with opportunities for training and development within one of the UK's largest facilities

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles preferred, but not essential.
• Evening shifts availability is beneficial.
• Flexible and reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensure surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties and spill cleanup as needed.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste promptly and safely.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies to maintain stock levels.

As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. If you're a committed Cleaner looking for a role you'll shine in, we've got the position for you.

Here's an idea of what your shift pattern will be:

• Mon: Evenings
• Tues: Evenings
• Weds: Evenings
• Thurs: Evenings
• Fri: Evenings

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
