Job summary

Compass Group UK&I ESS is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 25 hours per week. Mon-Fri Day shifts are expected as part of the role, contributing to a hygienic and safe environment for clients and customers.

You’ll work in a hands-on, flexible position, supporting the Defence, Government, and Energy services sector. Strong reliability and attention to detail are valued to maintain high standards across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have a flexible approach to working

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies

Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: Mon-Fri (Full Time Days)

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
