Job summary

Compass Group UK is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams contracted to 20 hours per week. You will help deliver on our promise to create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers.

The role suits a committed Cleaner looking for a role where you will shine. Shifts are 5 days out of 7, with the role supporting Defence, Government and Energy services, including 250+ UK establishments and secure sites.

• Experience in cleaning roles is not essential.
• Commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Working with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Performing additional cleaning duties as required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently.
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste.
• Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies.

As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: 5 out of 7 days

Please note: This role is contracted to weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
