Job summary

The Link Academy in Dudley is seeking a reliable Lead Cleaner to oversee our cleaning team and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the academy.

You will supervise staff, manage cleaning supplies, and support health and safety compliance. Duties include cleaning to specification, waste disposal, security (locking/unlocking) and routine equipment checks. A safety‑conscious, organised approach and willingness to training are essential.

The Link Academy are seeking a reliable and proactive Lead Cleaner to lead our dedicated cleaning team at the Academy. You will ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas, supervise the existing team, manage cleaning supplies, and support health and safety compliance. Duties include cleaning to specification, waste disposal, security responsibilities (locking/unlocking), equipment checks, and staff cover. You must be safety-conscious, organised, and willing to undertake training.
