Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaner to deliver excellent service standards at a Co Op site in Pelton, Chester-le-Street. The role is permanent, part-time, with a 10-hour weekly schedule.

Shift is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7am to 9am. The Cleaner will meet SLAs, follow cleaning schedules, and uphold health and safety training while providing quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Reliable and professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.
