Job summary

Edsential is hiring for a cleaning role at Lache Primary School, Hawthorn Road, Lache, Chester. The post involves general cleaning duties across designated areas, cleaning routines, and ensuring a safe, clean environment for pupils and staff.

You will perform sweeping, vacuuming, polishing and dusting, with use of powered equipment as needed. Training and ongoing development are provided, with opportunities for promotion and employee wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable but not essential.
• NVQ in Cleaning is desirable.
• Knowledge of Cross Contamination in a cleaning environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly, understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work alone and as a team.
• Awareness of safeguarding of children and young people legislation is desirable but not essential.

Job description

Hours: 8.75 per week

Shift Hours: 3.15 pm - 5 pm (Monday to Friday)

Full Address: Lache Primary School, Hawthorn Road, Lache, Chester CH4 8HX

If successful, you will be required to undertake the following duties within all designated areas:

• General cleaning

What do we require from you?
