Job summary

Edsential Community Interest Company is seeking a part-time cleaner for Lache Primary School in Chester. The role covers general cleaning tasks during term time, with 11.50 hours per week and shifts from 3.30 pm to 5.48 pm, Monday to Friday.

We value reliability and team players; prior cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. Training and support are provided, along with uniform, PPE and access to wellbeing programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable but not essential.
• NVQ in Cleaning is desirable
• Knowledge of Cross Contamination in a cleaning environment
• Ability to communicate clearly, understand and follow instructions
• Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively
• Ability to work alone and as a team
• Awareness of safeguarding of children and young people guidance is desirable

• Sweeping
• Vacuum cleaning
• Emptying litter bins
• Polishing and dusting
• Use of powered equipment where applicable

What do we require from you?
