Job summary

Mitie is seeking a dedicated Cleaner for a full-time role in Cardiff. You will work 40 hours per week at a 13.45 GBP hourly rate, with the start date of 14/09. The position is based at Lloyds Banking Group, 1 St Johns Street, Cardiff, and involves maintaining cleanliness and safety across the site.

The role requires basic English communication, a flexible attitude, and reliability. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, with training provided and opportunities to develop

Responsibilities

In your role as a Cleaner you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order, meeting all agreed SLAs. You will build knowledge of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out, and the cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will undertake all required training to deliver the cleaning role. You will work within a team and can also work on your own initiative. You will build positive and productive working relationships with customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

You will need to communicate and read basic English; previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential; and you should have a flexible approach to the role. You should be open, honest, self-driven and determined, reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
