St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a reliable part-time Cleaner to join their premises team. You will carry out general cleaning duties across all areas of the school under the direction of the cleaner in charge.

The role is permanent, 20 hours per week, 41 weeks per year, 2:00 pm–6:00 pm. DBS check is required; full training will be provided and pro rata salary of £12,808 per year.

St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School's friendly, caring and experienced premises staff are looking to recruit reliable, hard-working and motivated Cleaners to join their team.

You will have responsibility for general cleaning duties in all areas of the school under the direction of the cleaner in charge/caretaker and will need to be committed to creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment to support children’s learning and development.

An understanding of hygiene and health and safety would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Working hours

In the role, hours are worked term time, plus non-pupil days with remainder of hours condensed over school closure periods, allowance to cover holiday entitlement included in salary.
