This post is 37.5 hours , this includes working every other weekend the proposed rota is
Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10:00-18:30, Friday 07:00-15:00 & Saturday 10:00 -16:00
Week 2 - Sunday 10:00-16:00 , Tuesday & Wednesday 10:00-18:30, Thursday 08:00-16:00, Friday 10:00-18:30
The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in a clinical ward based environment and also non-clinical areas throughout the main hospital, ensuring that a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained. Full on-site training is provided and PPE provision is also included.
Employment in this post requires an Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Main duties of the jobTo support the Facilities Function to ensure that the standard of cleanliness within the Trust is implemented andmaintained.
Main duties will include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, emptying bins, use of mechanical floor cleaning machines.
This role involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.
The above vacancies offer an opportunity to work extra hours as able - to cover sickness and staff holidays, job share would be considered for this role.
Good pay rates, 27 day annual leave per year to start plus BH and weekend enhancements if required
