About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at our Lawrence Hill depot. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene ofour fleet, ensuring a pleasant experience for our passengers. Theresponsibilities of this role include assisting with the internal and external cleaning of buses and depot premises using specialised equipment and chemicals, as well as being able to workautonomously with initiative, and part of a team.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of buses.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure cleanliness.
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, including seats, windows, and handrails.
• Empty waste bins as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning.
• Follow safety and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with other cleaning duties as required.

Location:Lawrence Hill

Job Type:38 hours per week

Shift Patterns:Sat-Tue 1900-0436hrs or Thurs-Sun 1900-0436hrs

Hourly Rate:£12.00 + Sat/Sun/Nights/ premiums

About you

• Minimum of 6 months cleaning experience is essential.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies as needed.
