Job summary

Lidl GB is hiring a Cleaner to maintain a pristine store environment and to ensure high hygiene standards for customers and colleagues alike. You will operate cleaning machinery, manage waste and welfare areas, and help keep the store welcoming and safe throughout your shift.

The role offers an hourly rate of £13.45–£13.65 on a 20 hour contract with early starts. Benefits include pension, holiday allowance and staff discount, with bank holiday and night shift enhancements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly maintain your store to keep it looking its very best.
• Keep trolley bays, car park, and outside spaces clean and tidy.
• Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery.
• Clean the welfare area, including toilets, waste and recycling sections.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
• Proactively ensure hygiene and Health and Safety standards are upheld.
