Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Cleaner to deliver excellent service standards in Belford. This part-time role requires working 10 hours a week with a shift pattern of 5 days, Monday to Saturday.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to communicate in basic English and ideally possess cleaning experience. The position offers a permanent contract with competitive pay of £12.71 per hour and a market-leading flexible benefits scheme.

Job description

We're looking for a Cleaner who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Contract: Part Time

Type: Permanent

Hours: 10 hours per week

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern: 5 days per week across Monday – Saturday (28 days Holiday)

Location: Co Op, West Street, Belford, Northumberland, England, NE70 7QE

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service
