Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our team at a Co Op on Main Street in Hawkshead, Ambleside. The role offers 6.15 hours per week with a permanent contract and a pay rate of £12.21 per hour. You will help keep equipment and areas clean, while meeting cleaning schedules and health and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have basic English, be flexible, proactive, reliable, and able to work both in a team and independently to deliver excellent service to customers.

• Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.
