Job summary

Mitie in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable Cleaner for a part-time role. You will be responsible for keeping equipment and premises clean, following health and safety guidelines and meeting service level agreements.

This position is 7.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 1.5 hours per day at 34 High Street, Battle, East Sussex. Basic English and a flexible, proactive approach are valued, and full training will be provided to ensure standards are met.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

• Follow Health and Safety requirements and use cleaning chemicals appropriately.

In your new role as a Cleaner you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
