DCK Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our Basildon Distribution Centre. The role focuses on keeping all areas clean, tidy and well-maintained to ensure a healthy working environment.
Shift is 10am–3pm, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, with comprehensive site-based benefits and parking. The successful candidate will have previous cleaning experience, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently to high standards.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas of the distribution centre are clean, organised, and maintained to a high standard, providing a healthy and pleasant working atmosphere for colleagues and visitors.
This role will be based in our Basildon Distribution Centre paying £12.71 per hour.
Shift pattern is as follows -
Monday 5 hours
Tuesday 5 hours
Wednesday 5 hours
Thursday 5 hours
Friday 5 hours
Shift pattern will be 10am - 3pm.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including desks, shelves, and cabinets.
Clean and sanitise restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure the area is well-maintained.
Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
Ensure all common areas, including break rooms and kitchens, are clean and organised.
Clean carpets and upholstery as needed.
Clean and maintain office equipment (e.g., microwaves, refrigerators, coffee machines).
Monitor and manage cleaning supplies inventory, requesting restocks when necessary.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
Ensure that cleaning practices do not pose a risk to the safety or health of colleagues.
Assist with setup and breakdown of office events or meetings.
Other general office maintenance tasks as directed.
Previous cleaning experience, particularly in an office or commercial setting, is preferred.
A full, valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Good time-management skills to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift cleaning supplies and equipment.
Reliability and punctuality.
Good communication skills.
Discretion and respect for privacy when handling office equipment and documents.
Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
