Job summary

Hyndburn Borough Council is recruiting a Cleaner to join the Scaitcliffe House cleaning team in Accrington. The role offers 10 hours per week, with Monday to Friday evenings, 5:15 pm to 7:15 pm, and is on-site and permanent.

The candidate will perform cleaning duties in line with health and safety policies and must have knowledge of cleaning equipment and materials. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

• Experience with cleaning equipment and materials.

• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Experience of being a key holder and locking up buildings.

• Provide an exceptional cleaning service for offices in accordance with the Council’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Ensure areas are kept clean and well maintained.
• Lock up and secure buildings as required.
