AtkinsRéalis is a leading name in the field of Clean Water Network services for the Water market sector, working with many of the UK’s water companies. Due to practice expansion, we seek a Clean Water Network Specialist to join our teams across the UK. We are looking for a strong collaborator, capable of supporting teams and delivering remote projects as part of our national Practice.

The Individual:

The successful candidate should demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the water sector, excellent technical skills, and a proven track record in business development, client management, project management, and line management. You will play a key role in delivering clean water network infrastructure projects and support the leadership and development of our water network capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree qualified with relevant professional certifications.
  • Experience in managing and supervising clean water network engineering teams.
  • Expertise in building and calibrating network models for planning, operational, and design purposes.
  • Experience in managing detailed zonal studies, pressure management, and DMA design.
  • Technical leadership providing strategic advice to clients for asset investment decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, approachable manner.
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Flexible, capable of multi-tasking and prioritising.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities:

The role involves responsibilities related to business performance, resilience, and technical reputation, contributing to business strategy. Key duties include:

  • Technical: Lead project teams, undertake director roles, promote best practices, and support staff development.
  • Business: Foster team integration, ensure compliance, develop client relationships, and support bidding processes.
