Job summary

Fresh Start Recruitment is seeking a Production Operator to join our client’s cleanroom environment in Sutton-in-Ashfield. You will follow gowning, entry/exit, and hygiene procedures, operate equipment, assemble, inspect, label and pack products, and maintain accurate production records.

You will monitor processes, report defects or contamination, and ensure adherence to health, safety, quality and environmental procedures. This role requires eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Follow gowning, entry, exit and hygiene procedures in the cleanroom.
• Operate production equipment and carry out assembly, processing, inspection, labelling and packing tasks as trained.
• Follow approved work instructions and quality checks.
• Check equipment, materials and the work area before starting production; report anything damaged, unclean or outside specification.
• Monitor the process and promptly report product defects, equipment faults or cleanroom condition concerns.
• Complete production records accurately, including batch, material, inspection, cleaning and traceability records.
• Clean the cleanroom, equipment and workstations using approved methods and materials.
• Handle components, tools and packaging to minimise contamination risk.
• Maintain correct material identification and segregation throughout the process.
• Follow health, safety, quality and environmental procedures, including safe waste handling.
• Stop and escape work if product quality, cleanliness or safety may be at risk.
