Job summary

New Silksworth Academy in Sunderland is seeking to appoint an inspiring Classroom Teacher for a fixed-term maternity cover from 1 January 2027 to 31 August 2028. We welcome newly or recently qualified teachers as well as more experienced colleagues who want to inspire others and develop professionally.

You will deliver engaging learning opportunities across the relevant Key Stage, contribute to wider life of the academy, and work with pupils, parents and partners.
