Veritas Education is recruiting experienced classroom support staff to work across primary schools in and around Leeds. The role involves supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working with class teachers, and delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions.

Candidates should have experience with SEN and be able to promote positive behaviour and engagement. All applications are subject to Enhanced DBS disclosure and safeguarding checks.

• Working alongside the class teacher
• Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
• Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
• Helping children develop their confidence and independence
• Providing general classroom support

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working within a primary school or similar education setting
• Be confident supporting children with different abilities and needs
• Be adaptable and happy to work across different year groups
• Have a warm, patient and positive approach
• Be reliable and committed to supporting their school
