Job summary

Vida Education is currently seeking Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Lancashire and Cumbria. We welcome experienced or aspiring TAs to apply and support classroom learning alongside qualified teachers.

Candidates should have a Level 2 TA qualification or at least 1 year in a school setting, with strong references. A current Enhanced DBS registered with Update Service is preferred or willingness to apply (cost applies).

Qualifications

• A Level 2 TA qualification or 1 year experience in a school setting with references.
• Confident communication skills and ability to motivate students in the classroom.
• Enhanced DBS with Update Service or willingness to apply (cost applied).

Responsibilities

• Supporting the teacher with the delivery of the lesson.
• Preparing the classroom for lessons, such as setting up equipment.
• Managing behaviour and engaging students with their own learning.
• Working with students one-to-one or in small groups out of the classroom.
• Committed to support both the teacher and the students to succeed.
