Teaching Personnel are seeking caring Classroom Support Assistants to join SEN schools across Wigan and Bolton. You will work with staff to support pupils with diverse needs, helping them access learning and build confidence in a supportive classroom.

Teaching Personnel are looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Support Assistants to join SEN schools across Wigan and Bolton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and want to make a genuine difference in the classroom.
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will work alongside teaching staff to provide support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning and develop their confidence and independence.
Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting pupils with their learning and classroom activities
Providing 1:1 or small-group support where required
Helping pupils develop social, emotional and communication skills
Supporting positive behaviour and engagement
Working closely with teachers and other school staff
Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
You could be an experienced Teaching Assistant, Support Worker or Youth Worker — or someone looking to start a rewarding career working with children.

Confident working with children and young people
Able to build positive relationships
Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
Experienced in SEN settings (desirable, but not always essential)
Relevant qualifications and experience are welcomed, but full training and support may be available for the right candidates.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
