Milk Education is recruiting a Classroom Assistant to join a Primary School in Hexham on a long- or short-term basis starting in September. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Monitor and report student progress, behaviour, and any concerns to the teacher, while maintaining accurate records and respecting confidentiality.

Requirements or Skills:

• Maintain professionalism by safeguarding student welfare, respecting confidentiality, following school policies, and adapting to the diverse needs of learners
• Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills when working with students, teachers, parents, and other school staff.
• Support the classroom teacher by preparing learning materials, setting up activities, and helping maintain an organized, safe, and engaging learning environment.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
