Job summary

Argyll and Bute Council is advertising for a Classroom Assistant ELC at Tayvallich Primary Pre Five to support our Early Learning and Childcare team and assist with lunch times.

The successful candidate will be nurturing, collaborative with children, families and staff, and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences. PVG membership is required; the salary shown is full-time equivalent and will be pro rata.

Qualifications

  • PVG Membership required for working with children.
  • Experience supporting Early Learning and Childcare is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support with lunch times as part of the ELC team.
  • Work collaboratively with children, colleagues and families to create a positive learning environment.

Tayvallich Primary School is seeking a motivated and creative Classroom Assistant to join our Early Learning and Childcare team to support with lunch times. The successful candidate will demonstrate a nurturing approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with children, colleagues and families. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally in a supportive and community-focused environment.
