The Care Department is actively seeking a Children Learning Disability Teaching Assistant to work within an award-winning school located in Chorley. The service is a bespoke specialist service for people aged 6-19 with autistic spectrum conditions and complex needs. You will assist students throughout their educational journey.
What you'll be doing as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
The successful candidate will undertake educational support duties and assist the class teacher in the day-to-day needs of pupils, enabling the teacher to deliver the curriculum and respond to pupils' needs. You will also need to pick up and drop off children from the residential service to and from school.
