Job summary

The Recruitment Group in Birmingham seeks a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver for an ongoing role in the West Midlands. This position offers guaranteed hours, paid breaks and a genuine route into a permanent contract. Shifts run Monday to Friday with 07:00 starts, typically around 10 hours, and optional Saturday overtime for those who want extra earnings.

You will deliver stock to customers, mostly kerbside, using an electric pump truck; tail-lift work and FLTs may be required at some sites.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (C) licence
• Valid CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Manual handling ability
• Previous Class 2 delivery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver stock to customers, predominantly kerbside deliveries
• Operate using electric pump truck and assist with tail-lift where required
• Occasional FLT offloads at some sites
• Work Monday to Friday with optional Saturday overtime
• Temp-to-perm opportunity leading to full-time contract

Class 2 HGV Driver

Looking for a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver role with guaranteed hours, paid breaks and a genuine route into a permanent contract?

Pay and Hours

• £16.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 45 hours guaranteed every week
• 07:00–07:30am starts
• Most shifts are around 10 hours
• Optional Saturday overtime available

The Role

We are looking for reliable Class 2 (C) Drivers for an ongoing position in B37.

The role involves delivering stock to customers, with predominantly kerbside deliveries.

An electric pump truck is provided to assist with moving stock. Around 25% of deliveries involve tail-lift work, and some sites have FLTs available to offload where required.

You will work Monday to Friday, with optional Saturday overtime available if you want to earn extra.

There is also a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to secure a full-time permanent contract.
