Job summary

Greenfield St Mary’s seeks a Class Teacher and SENCO to lead teaching across Key Stages and manage SEND provision under the Teachers’ Pay Scale with a TLR 2. You will contribute to school improvement, develop intervention strategies and mentor staff within a supportive, collaborative team.

The role requires strong data analysis, effective communication, and a commitment to safeguarding as part of our school ethos and partnership networks.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of teaching experience across Primary Key Stages, with evidence of impact.
• Involvement in self-evaluation and development planning.
• Experience in conducting training/leading INSET sessions.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusion.
• Understanding of quality first teaching and intervention strategies.

What skills and experience we're looking for

• At least 3 years of teaching experience across a variety of Primary Key Stages
• Involvement in self-evaluation and development planning
• Experience in conducting training/leading INSET
• Evidence of work that has led directly to positive outcomes for pupils at a whole school level
• Sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
• Understanding of what makes ‘quality first’ teaching and effective intervention strategies.
• An excellent understanding of how children learn and how to overcome barriers to learning
• Ability to plan and evaluate interventions
• Data analysis skills and the ability to use data to inform provision planning
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build effective working relationships
• Ability to influence and negotiate
