Milton Parochial Primary School is seeking an outstanding Class Teacher to join our Early Years and Key Stage 1 team. We welcome experienced teachers and ECTs, offering a supportive induction and professional development within the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) family.

The role emphasises Quality First Teaching, strong phonics delivery, and an inclusive, language-rich classroom, with a commitment to our distinctively Christian vision and ethos.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of EYFS framework and KS1 curriculum requirements.
• Passion for early reading and systematic phonics delivery.
• Ability to create a language-rich, inclusive classroom environment.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues and external agencies to support every child.
• Deliver Quality First Teaching and maintain high expectations for progress and behaviour.
• Support the Christian ethos and collaborate within the EYFS/KS1 team.

• Has a strong understanding of early childhood development, the EYFS framework, continuous provision, and Key Stage 1 curriculum requirements and is therefore able to develop Quality First Teaching.

• Creates an engaging, language-rich, and inclusive classroom environment rooted in mutual respect.
• Has high expectations for pupil progress, attainment, and positive behaviour management.
• Works collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure every child thrives.
• Is supportive of our distinctively Christian vision and ethos.
