Job summary

Broadway First School in Broadway, Worcestershire, is seeking two Class Teachers to cover maternity leave for one year. You will join a friendly, nurturing team and deliver high-quality lessons to our primary pupils.

We welcome both experienced teachers and ECTs. Enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school are valued, with an interest in English, SEND or curriculum development welcomed.

Post: Class Teachers – Two Maternity Cover Positions

Salary: Main Pay Scale

Contract type: Full-time, fixed-term maternity cover for one year

Start date:January/February 2027

Broadway First School is looking for two excellent and enthusiastic teachers to join our friendly and supportive team to provide maternity cover.

We are a welcoming first school in the beautiful village of Broadway, with a strong sense of community and a commitment to providing the very best education and experiences for our children. We are looking for teachers who are passionate about helping children achieve their best, have high expectations and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team. We are particularly interested in appointing people who will bring enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school. Experience or an interest in English, SEND or wider curriculum development would be welcomed, but is not essential.
