Job summary

Blackbrook Community Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership, seeks a teacher for maternity cover to start in the 2027 Spring term. The role focuses on delivering the foundation phase curriculum with planning, preparation and teaching responsibilities. EYFS experience and strong classroom management are highly valued.

The fixed-term position is 0.8 FTE with potential to increase to 1.0 FTE for up to one year, for a dedicated educator joining our primary teaching staff.

Teacher vacancy - MAT Cover for up to 1 year

Blackbrook Community Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership, seeks to appoint a teacher on a Maternity Cover basis to start in the 2027 Spring term.

Overview of the role

We are seeking an excellent, enthusiastic teacher to join our teaching staff for a maternity cover placement ideally experienced in EYFS. You’ll be an experienced Primary teacher delivering the foundation phase curriculum whilst planning, preparing and teaching lessons; an understanding of classroom management, curriculum knowledge and delivery of feedback is key.

• Passion and commitment for inspiring through teaching and learning
• Solid knowledge of the foundation phase in line with the relevant curriculum
• The ability to build on and develop existing best practice knowledge
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Fixed Term position, FTE 0.8 Maternity Cover Contract for up to 1 year (with the possibility of increasing to FTE 1.0)
