We are a caring single form entry primary school, educating children between the ages of 5 and 11 years. Located in the village of Netheravon, Wiltshire, we have strong links with our local community and Netheravon All Saints’ Church. Our central values of love, kindness, respect, trust and determination sit at the heart of our school community and, paired with our high expectations for behaviour, help us to promote the full potential of all. Our staff encourage pupils to aim high and help them to develop their unique talents and skills through a broad, balanced and stimulating curriculum. In 2023 we retained our ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and are proud to be part of Acorn Education Trust, which has provided exciting opportunities to improve local education and draw on collective experience.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is committed to becoming a truly excellent teacher;
  • Can teach a broad range of engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve student attainment;
  • Can plan and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard that ensure real learning takes place and students make superior progress;
  • Has good knowledge and awareness of current initiatives in the Primary Curriculum;
  • Is able to raise attainment and challenge students to achieve their best;
  • Is an effective team member who can contribute positively to our team and across the wider school community;
  • Is committed to the need to safeguard and nurture our pupils;
  • Has a positive, cheerful outlook with a good sense of humour;
  • Is able to forge good relationships with students and staff;
  • Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;
  • Has a desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure.

We can offer the successful candidate:

  • An ambitious and vibrant place to work, with enthusiastic children and staff who are passionate about learning;
  • A workplace where everyone feels valued and supported;
  • Opportunities for training and progression;
  • The support of Acorn Education Trust, with excellent opportunities to work with experienced colleagues;
