Sutherland House School Nottingham is an independent specialist school for autistic children and young people aged 5-19. The school prides itself on creating personalised learning opportunities with a vision for reaching potential for each individual pupil.
We offer small class groups, favourable staffing levels and excellent opportunities for training and professional development. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
As part of a supportive staff team, you will have a passion for improving the lives for autistic pupils and their families. You will have a commitment to planning and delivering engaging lessons and you will engage with a wide range of professionals, including therapists to ensure all pupils are reaching their full potential.
Please note this will be subject to receipt of satisfactory references and an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check - cost will be met by Autism East Midlands.
Successful applicant will need to sign up to the annual DBS Update Service at a current cost of £13 per year.
