About The Role

Within your role as a Class Teacher, you will deliver engaging, well-resourced, and creative lessons that align with our curriculum. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing student progress and ensuring that your teaching methods effectively support their progress, attainment, and well-being. You’ll regularly reflect on the impact of your teaching and assessment strategies, continuously striving for improvement. As part of our team, you will also actively engage in professional development opportunities tailored to your goals, including attending weekly staff meetings to collaborate and share best practices.

This is a part-time 0.6 FTE, permanent position with a September 2025 start date.

Who we are looking for:

To be considered for this role you will have achieved a sound academic standard i.e. 2:1 degree in Education or Teaching. We would also expect:

• Commitment and real interest in education
• An ability to understand and work with legislation and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent organisational & administrative skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines, managing competing priorities.
• A willingness to give generously of their time to support school events and activities (these will not always be 8 – 4).
• Flexibility – no day is the same when working with children
