Hillside Primary School in Ipswich, part of the Active Learning Trust, is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher who values every pupil and strives for high standards.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and maintain a positive, inclusive environment. You will work with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil development and school improvement.

For teachers on the Upper Pay Range there is scope to lead teaching initiatives and share best practice across the trust.

We are looking for a dedicated Class Teacher to join Hillside Primary School, a welcoming and ambitious primary school at the heart of the Ipswich community, where every child is encouraged to feel valued, supported and inspired. As part of the Active Learning Trust, this role offers the opportunity to deliver excellent teaching, nurture a love of learning and contribute to a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement. For colleagues on the Upper Pay Range, there is also scope to play a leading role in developing teaching practice and supporting others. We are seeking a teacher who combines strong classroom expertise with collaboration, professionalism and a genuine commitment to helping every pupil succeed.
