Kingsthorpe Village Primary is a one form entry primary school with 206 pupils on roll. We are seeking a full-time class teacher to cover maternity leave on a fixed term contract starting January 2027, with interviews on 15 October 2026.

Kingsthorpe Village Primary is a one form entry primary school with 206 pupils currently on roll. The school has the advantage of being well resourced and has its very own Wellbeing Hub. Staff and pupil wellbeing remain a key driver at the school and both pupils and staff are highly conscientious and hardworking. KVPS is a wonderful place to work and teacher vacancies at our school do not come around often. Parents and governors are highly supportive of the school and there exists a strong community spirit.

We are looking for a class teacher, full-time to cover maternity leave on a fixed term contract to start Easter 2026 (13 th April 2026). We are seeking a teacher who understands what learning is and can make it meaningful for all our children on a daily basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative class teacher to join our fabulous team at KVPS. We can offer excellently behaved pupils who are resilient and enjoy their learning. We have a vast range of staff expertise and experience across the school and for the last decade have performed at the recognised “GOOD” level with Ofsted as a grant-maintained school. In January 2026 we were inspected by Ofsted under the new framework and received ‘Met All Expectations’ which we are enormously proud of. Our curriculum is highly developed, inspiring and fun.
