Job summary

Millhouse Primary School & Nursery, Basildon, seeks a class teacher for our Lighthouse classroom (up to 6 children with additional needs). The role supports inclusion, with high behaviour expectations and a focus on building positive relationships with children, families and staff.

We welcome patient, kind applicants who can bring learning to life for all pupils. This full-time, fixed-term position starts 01/01/2027 and is paid on the MPS/UPS scale depending on experience.

today' and we are looking for a class teacher who can do just this! We are a large forward-thinking primary school that uses evidence-based research to inform
our practice. We have a hardworking and dedicated team of staff and a supportive
leadership team. We are looking for a teacher with a passion for Inclusion who will be working in our newly
established 'Lighthouse' classroom. A small class of up to 6 children with additional needs.

• Prides themselves on building positive relationships with children, their families, external agencies and staff teams.
• Has experience of working with children with complex needs either in a mainstream
  classroom or specialist provision.
• Is confident implementing and co-ordinating specialist provision for individual children.
