Job summary

Caretech is seeking a motivated, skilled and resilient Class Instructor to teach a range of young people, many with learning or behavioural difficulties. The role requires energy, enthusiasm and a strong positive behaviour management ethos.

With small class sizes and TA support, you will plan, prioritise workload and adapt approaches to individual learning needs. Training and progression opportunities are available within one of the UK's largest care providers.

Job description

• To teach a range of young people the majority of who will have either learning or behavioural difficulties or both.
• To be cognisant of different methods in which students learn and to apply these sympathetically within the structure of lessons.
• To maintain good professional practices.
• To help create a positive environment for each young person with particular reference to his or her safety, health and education.
  We are looking for a motivated, skilled and resilient Class Instructor. The role will suit an instructor who can demonstrate energy, enthusiasm with a strong positive behaviour management ethos. Class sizes are small with TA support, all of our students need bespoke individualised learning., Relevant Experience and Knowledge:-
• Able to plan and prioritise workload.
• Ability to maintain judgement when working under pressure.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and initiative.
• Ability to learn and develop new skills.

Desirable:

• Cross-curricular working to incorporate National curriculum into practical learning.
• A significant level of teaching experience and relevant qualifications.
