What does the TLC Refuse & Recycling team do?

• The team empties 14.5 million bins annually across Stockport.
• Provides collection services at various frequencies to over 126,000 properties.
• Achieves a recycling rate of around 60%, ranking in the top 10 authorities nationally.

Your role responsibilities

• Ensure crew safety and deliver quality service to residents.
• Work 37 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with options for 4-day or 5-day shifts and overtime opportunities.
• Drive vehicles for recycling, garden, food, and refuse collection to minimize environmental impact.
• Complete daily vehicle checks, report defects, and document incidents, emphasizing safety.
• Follow instructions for waste collection, ensuring reliable and effective service.
