We seek a dedicated MOT Tester / Service Mechanic to conduct DVSA inspections on Class 4 and light commercial vehicles, log findings accurately, and perform pre-MOT repairs and routine servicing across a varied customer mix, ensuring right-first-time quality.

Qualifications

• DVSA Smart Card / MOT Tester Licence is mandatory.
• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent time-served garage background.
• Methodical inspector committed to accurate vehicle safety standards and right-first-time quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliant DVSA inspections on Class 4 and light commercial vehicles.
• Log test findings accurately and maintain records.
• Perform pre-MOT rectifications and routine servicing.
• Handle brake components, wipers, lighting repairs and suspension work as part of the MOT process.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + team efficiency bonus
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule + Saturdays operated on a fair team rota basis

Role Overview

Seeking a dedicated MOT Tester / Service Mechanic to join our workshop team. • Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
