Job summary

Driver Hire Belfast in Antrim is seeking experienced Class 2 Waste Management Drivers to join our client. The role covers safe and efficient collection and transportation of waste in line with regulations and company standards.

You will operate Class 2 vehicles, adhere to safety guidelines, perform vehicle checks, and assist customers during collections. Shifts rotate across the week to cover 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience in waste management or similar driving roles preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and maintain punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 vehicles for waste collection and disposal.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate records.
• Provide excellent customer service during collections.

Position 1 + 2

Hours: 37 hours per week

Pay Rate: £16.74

Shifts: 4 over 7

Week 1

• Monday: Off
• Tuesday to Friday: 06:00 to 15:45
• Saturday: Off
• Sunday: Off

Week 2

• Monday to Tuesday: 06:00 to 15:45
• Wednesday to Friday: Off
• Saturday to Sunday: 06:00 to 15:45

Position 3

Monday - Thursday

Hours: 37 hours per week

Pay Rate: £15.33
