Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment Ltd are seeking a Class 2 Driver in Hatfield to operate a skip vehicle for a client providing waste disposal services. The role offers immediate starts and weekly pay, with potential overtime opportunities and a temporary-to-permanent contract after 12 weeks.

Applicants should have a Class 2 licence, at least 6 months of commercial driving experience, a valid UK DCPC and Digi-tacho card.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence is required.
• Minimum 6 months experience driving commercially.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• Cannot have DD, TT, DR, CD or IN endorsements on your licence.
• WTD regulations knowledge is expected.

Responsibilities

• Driving and operating a Class 2 skip vehicle
• Delivering and collecting skips from customer sites
• Transporting waste to disposal facilities for disposal
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Completing all required paperwork accurately
• Providing professional customer service
• Following drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations
• Complying with health and safety and environmental procedures
