Job summary

Driver Hire Plymouth & Cornwall is seeking Class 2 Night / Twilight Trunk Drivers in Ivybridge, Devon. Shifts typically run Sunday–Thursday with start times around 14:00, delivering refrigerated, chilled, and ambient goods for a leading wholesale distributor.

Pay rates are £16/h (Mon-Fri), £20/h (Sat/Night), £24/h (Sun). Daily/weekly pay applies; ongoing temporary role with potential for further/permanent work for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with CAT C, valid CPC and Digi cards.
• Class 1 trunk runs also available if licence is held.
• Previous HGV class 2 experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refrigerated, chilled and ambient goods to external sites nationwide.
• Maintain high safety and compliance standards while on trunk routes.
• Complete deliveries and handovers efficiently with customers.
