Job summary

A Class 2 Driver position with Allscreens Nationwide Ltd based in West Thurrock involves a mix of multi-drop deliveries, trunk runs to London and the M25, and hotel project deliveries. Expect 4–5 deliveries per day, operating a Category C vehicle up to 18 tonnes, with a strong focus on customer service.

The role requires a valid UK Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and experience securing loads. Typical hours are 08:00–09:00 start and around 17:00 finish, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience as a Class 2/HGV/Delivery Driver.
• Experience securing and strapping loads.
• Good knowledge of London and M25 routes.
• Reliable, professional and a strong team player.
• Monday to Friday shifts; start between 08:00-09:00; finish around 17:00.
• Salary: £32,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop and trunk deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to locations across London, including UB8, UB3 and NW10.
• Secure loads using ratchet straps and load restraint equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading where required.
• Carry out hotel project deliveries, including collection and return of equipment.
• Wait on-site during hotel project work while goods are unloaded or utilised.
• Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately.

Typically, you'll complete 4-5 deliveries per day, operating a Category C vehicle up to 18 tonnes while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, or Delivery Driver.
• Experience securing and strapping loads.
• Good knowledge of London and M25 routes.
• Reliable, professional and a strong team player.
• Comfortable managing a variety of delivery types and routes.
